Review Specifications and Standards
We review existing insulation specifications and company standards for industrial facilities. The objective is a structured, traceable and standards-based assessment of existing documents as a basis for the client’s internal evaluation.
What It Covers
Company standards and insulation specifications define requirements for design, material selection and execution. In existing facilities, these documents often originate from different project phases and have been revised over many years.
- unclear or contradictory requirements
- deviating interpretations in tendering and execution
- non-transparent insulation thicknesses and assumptions
- technical weaknesses in heat loss and CUI-related topics
The technical review serves the structured identification and documentation of such points for the client’s internal evaluation.
Scope of Work
- systematic review of existing company standards and insulation specifications
- comparison with relevant standards and technical rules
- review of documented insulation thicknesses and design assumptions
- identification and documentation of inconsistencies and ambiguities
- structured presentation of technical findings
Depending on the project, this may include requirements from DIN 4140, AGI Q, VDI 2055, EN ISO 12241, EN 17956, VDI 4610, CINI, …
Documentation
- structured overview of existing requirements
- assignment of technical ambiguities and contradictions
- traceable presentation of relevant deviations
- documentation basis for internal review and clarification
